I was born in Frankfurt, Germany while my father was serving in the Army. Shortly after, my family moved to Columbia, South Carolina for my father's next Army duty station. From there, we moved to State College, PA, where I developed my lifelong love for all things Penn State! After that, my family moved to the Washington, DC area where my father finished his military career. We stayed in DC until I graduated high school. I felt God leading me to go to Pensacola Christian College, so departed for college and majored in Music Education, and earned a minor in History Education. Upon graduation, I went to teach at Valley Baptist Christian School in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. While there, I served as church Music Director, as well as teaching several different courses. While there, I married my beautiful wife, Desirae. After some time there, we felt God's calling in our life to go to the tropical island of Saipan to teach in a Christian school. We enjoyed our time there, and God called us back to the mainland. We spent one year in Louisville, KY, and then went back to the DC area where my family is still located. We spent six years there before God called us to Sumter. Shortly before arriving here in Sumter, God saw fit to bless us with our little girl, Netta. We thank God for her, and all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. I am thrilled to be here in Sumter, and to have the opportunity to teach the students here. I hope to be able to share a love of learning and music in each student!
